Last week, the official competition lineup for the 67th Cannes Film Festival, which will be held from May 14 to May 25, was announced.

The grand opener of the event is Olivier Dahan’s Grace of Monaco with Nicole Kidman, and the list of competitors includes such well-known directors as Jean-Luc Godard, Xavier Dolan, Mike Leigh, Ken Loach and Tommy Lee Jones among others.

We bring you the list of films that will be shown this year to keep an eye on for the future (except if you’re one of the lucky ones to be watching them straight on the sunny spot), because they will probably hit the local cinemas at umn…some point, and there are some highly anticipated highlights such as Ryan Gosling’s debut as a director – Lost River and Ned Benson’s Eleanor Rigby which consists of two parts Him and Her.
